Own a Piece of History

Attention Roberta Flack Fans:

Here is your chance to own a unique piece of music history!

Ms. Flack is selling the first of four grand pianos from her personal collection of musical instruments. This particular piano is truly a "first" in another sense as well.

A circa 1914 Mason & Hamlin Model A, serial # 23632, this is the exact piano which appears on the cover of Ms. Flack's first album on Atlantic Records, First Take—which contains the beautiful song, "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."

This piano was located at the famous Washington, DC nightclub called Mr. Henry's, and was the actual instrument that Ms. Flack played in front of her many audiences there, including the very night that she was discovered by jazz great Les McCann—after which she signed her first recording contract with Atlantic Records!

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own the actual instrument which literally defined the sound of the soul / R&B ballads in the 1970s!

Mason and Hamlin pianos were all hand-tooled (no assembly line), and this one has been completely rebuilt.

A portion of the money received from the sale of this piano will benefit the Roberta Flack School of Music at The Hyde Bronx Charter School in Bronx, New York.

Ms. Flack will accept the highest verified bid. For more information, please contact info@robertaflack.com.

Serious inquiries only, please!!!
